I've been workin on getting my usb device to communicate through a virtual comport and found out the following :


0) I use PIC18F2455 and Microchip CDC example code.

1) My system is Windows Xp Sp2,and my device is working correct.

2) I check the USBSER.SYS version is 5.1.2600.2180 (XP's version).

3) When I use my device in Windows 2000 Sp4,it didn't work correct.

when I send command to my device,and the response of my usb device is incorrect.
4) It doesn't work with USBSER.SYS version 5.0.2195.6655 (2000 version).



I found this problem of usbser.sys(win2000 version) everywhere.

But no solution for solving this problem.

Any suggestion will help me.

感謝你的回覆，我目前已將Microchip CDC firmware轉成Hi-tech PICC18的版本.

現在的想法是在timer中斷後，以固定時間去polling CDC input buffer，看是否有資料進來，如果有就將資料存到另一個buffer中.

而我的問題就是mCDCGetRxLength()是否一定要在getsUSBUSART 後呼叫，才可得知現在收到的data有幾個bytes.

試了幾次一直對這兩個function有點confusion.

上完USB課程後，一直有一個疑問，那就是Microchip的 CDC firmware是否可以中斷的方式，來得知PC是否送Data??而不是
固定時間去polling Buffer是否有data。

目前我想要以原廠的CDC firmware來改寫一USB 轉RS232，PC端最大一筆資料可送出500bytes，但由於CDC firmware的限制，其Endpoint最大只能64bytes，故要一次收完500bytes，是很難實現的。

想請問各位，原廠的CDC firmware，接收可否利用interrupt來做到？？
